Response to Ideas from class discussion:

While presenting my ideas to the class I received good positive feedback on the initial plans and some constructive criticism which I will take into account when I'm with my group.

Initially, most people preferred my second idea of the track "radioactive" with the narrative being between two rival gangs and following their individual stories. This is due to the main narrative of the video having a clearer view than the other ideas such which mainly follow a performance sequence with dancing and acting. However, there were some issues that was brought up due to the practicality of the set and how we can perform the ideas on camera, such as the casting of the gang having a risk of being quite comical. Another issue would be the fight scene and having the acting of the fight being realistic rather than fake which is a risk due to the budget and options we can use. One main issue that was said throughout the class, even with other ideas that were presented, was the weather due to it being winter where the sun sets early and the temperature is very cold which will need to be taken into account with the cast and visual aspects on the camera being affected. Also, the timing of the shooting will be very tight due to the sun set being early in winter, which would be a issue to think of for all my ideas and will need to be taken into account for the filming day. A positive outlook from my ideas was that I had followed the tone of the track and linked my music video ideas to the action on stage which hopefully will look good on camera. for the final piece.

Here is a video of the feedback I received in class:
